Meet our Survivorship Navigator

Cheryl O’Blek RN, BSN, OCN, Survivorship Navigator

Cheryl O'blekCheryl has over 16 years’ experience working with patients in the oncology field. She has helped patients during chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as providing them with education about their disease. As the Survivorship Navigator, Cheryl empowers patients to be active participants in their care, adopt healthy lifestyles and remain vigilant about follow up and preventive care after their first cancer treatment. Following treatment, each patient receives a summary and follow up care plan. It is reviewed with each patient and also given to their primary care physician. This summary helps to build better communication between the primary care physician and oncology team, and documents the care each patient has received. This is an invaluable tool for cancer survivors.
