Teen Center

All teenagers and young adults – including those with autism spectrum disorder – have aspirations for their personal development, physical and emotional well-being, employment, social relationships, and more. Puberty, social challenges, and independent decision making are real-life challenges during this time. Because many people with ASD experience challenges such as managing multiple tasks, planning activities of daily living, and understanding social cues, this time period can be more difficult. There are many helpful resources for adolescents with ASD, their parents, and those that support them to navigate through this transition.
