Technology-Dependent Patient Support Program

Many times children go home dependent on assistive medical devices such as oxygen, ventilator, tracheotomy, or CPAP machines. This is often overwhelming for the family. The Technology-Dependent Patient Support Program at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital was created to help educate patients and their families on how to provide quality medical care to children with special needs at home.

The program provides services to all children from birth to adulthood. Our team will work along side other disciplines to ensure that the patients and the families receive all the care and education they need.

Our dedicated team of physicians, advanced practice nurses, nutritionists, and social workers work with the families and outside agencies to coordinate care within the home.
