Welcome to BMSCH – Kids are Our ONLY Specialty

A letter from our President and Chief Executive Officer, John J. Gantner

President John GantnerDear Friend,

Welcome to Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where you will receive outstanding care provided by top-ranked physicians and nurses. BMSCH is a freestanding 105-bed, pediatric acute care facility adjacent to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ). BMSCH is the cornerstone of the state’s only pediatric academic health campus, which also includes The Child Health Institute of New Jersey at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital for rehabilitation, a Ronald McDonald House for families and Embrace Kids Foundation.

In 2017, BMSCH was named “One of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” by U.S. News & World Report for the fifth time. BMSCH has consistently earned Magnet recognition for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Beyond the colorful decor, comforting spaces, private rooms and child-friendly design is the ongoing commitment and dedication to family-centered care and a partnership between patients, families and their health care practitioners to achieve the best possible outcomes for your child.

I invite you to further explore our services.

Please know that your comfort and care is our top priority. At RWJ, everyone matters, and we are committed to ensuring the health and well being of our diverse communities in all we do.
