RWJBarnabas Health’s Deanna Minus-Vincent Named Recipient of the Women Leaders in Innovation Award from the NJ Chamber of Commerce

Deanna Minus-VincentDeanna Minus-Vincent, Executive Vice President and Chief Social Justice and Accountability Officer at RWJBarnabas Health, is receiving the Alice H. Parker Women Leaders in Innovation Award from the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce for her hard work and dedication to improve health outcomes and health equity throughout RWJBarnabas Health and in the communities it serve.

Specifically, the NJ Chamber was impressed by her work leading the system’s Ending Racism Together and Health Beyond the Hospital initiatives (HBH). Promoting an antiracist culture throughout the system and communities it serves, Minus-Vincent develops and implements policy and operational changes to ensure all employees and patients are treated with equity – free of discrimination – while also investing in local underserved neighborhoods to address social determinants and foster equitable health, economic, and social outcomes. Through HBH, she works to improve equity by developing and improving processes to enable physicians to identify social factors that may contribute to their health and connect them to community resources while also implementing individual care plans.

She will receive the award during a reception for 2022 awardees on Wednesday, October 26th.
