Joe Piscopo broadcasts live from Trinitas with Mike Lindell

Yesterday, a special event happened at Trinitas that will be remembered for a long, long time. Movie star, TV star, radio star and all-around good guy Joe Piscopo brought his crew to the main lobby at Trinitas to broadcast live to his audience on AM970 "The Answer."

Joe brought his sharp wit, his eye for the unusual and his ability to bring out the best in people, and the lobby was electrified, both literally and figuratively, for four hours of live radio. His crew navigated the overhead paging, the live interviewing of Trinitas executives, staff and local dignitaries, and the influx of visitors and the crowd that had assembled as word got out that something special was happening in the lobby.

As if that wasn't enough, Joe's special guest for the broadcast was "My Pillow" founder Mike Lindell. Not only do Mike and Joe have a lot of history together, Mike was kind enough to donate a large quantity of travel-sized "My Pillows" to hundreds of people who were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

Joe and Mike were both interested in many of the programs and services offered by Trinitas, including our DBT program, our Sleep Disorders Center and our Wound Healing Center. They also recognized our nurses for the wonderful work they do 24/7/365, and Chief Nursing Officer Mary McTigue was interviewed on the topic.

During the broadcast, numerous advertisers were mentioned, as is normal and customary in a radio broadcast. One advertiser in particular, Durisan, a manufacturer of innovative antimicrobial solutions, had a table full of its products that they also gave away to throngs of people who flocked to the event.

Our thanks go out to Joe, his crew, his sales and promotional staff, and Mike Lindell, and Durisan, for making today a day that will be talked about at Trinitas for a long, long time.
