Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset will conduct an active-shooter response exercise in conjunction with local law enforcement on Wednesday, March 20 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the hospital’s Steeplechase Cancer Center at 30 Rehill Ave., Somerville.
The exercise will help the hospital and law enforcement evaluate our response in the event an active shooter enters the campus to inflict harm on visitors and employees.
Please be aware that law enforcement personnel may be seen on the hospital campus wearing their full equipment.
Signs will be posted throughout campus to inform visitors and employees that an active shooter exercise is under way.
All normal hospital operations and visiting hours will continue during this time.
