Jun 14, 2019 Patrizia's of Red Bank Raises Over $43,000 at "Miracle Night" Fundraiser

Patrizia’s of Red Bank hosted the fifth annual “Miracle Night” fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and raised $43,000 for local beneficiary, Children’s Specialized Hospital, bringing the total raised in five years to over $223,000.

Lou Maschi, an owner of Patrizia’s, has been a staunch supporter of Children’s Specialized Hospital for over ten years. “Through my fundraising work with IHOP, I had the opportunity to learn about the amazing work at Children’s Specialized Hospital,” said Maschi. “I am dedicated to helping Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raise funds to help ensure that the services provided at Children’s Specialized are available to all children and I’m grateful to the Red Bank community for their support of “Miracle Night,” Maschi continued.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals 2019 New Jersey Champion Child, Alexis Simon, attended the event with her family. In addition to performing for the guests, Alexis shared her moving story of rehabilitation and recovery at PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital after being hit by a car. Her miraculous story, and the many others like hers, is the reason Lou Maschi and event sponsor, Industry Magazine, are committed to hosting such a special evening.

"We are fortunate to have partners like Lou helping to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Specialized Hospital,” said Nicole Hudson, Director of Fundraising and Operations, Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation. “We are grateful to the entire Maschi family for their continued support through the years.”

Children’s Specialized Hospital has more than 120 years of experience caring for children with special needs and is the state’s leader in autism diagnosis, treatment and research. The hospital serves children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays and life-changing illnesses. Children’s Specialized Hospital has 13 sites in New Jersey and treats 37,000 children each year, making it the largest pediatric rehabilitation system in the country.
