Anneliese McMenamin, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has been named Chief Human Resources Officer for Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Ms. McMenamin is an accomplished senior human resources executive, skilled in strategic Human Resources and Business Planning. She is results oriented with a strong financial, managerial and strategic planning background, driven to make organizational change. With extensive experience in today’s rapidly changing business environment, competitive markets and limited resources, Ms. McMenamin will look to use her skills to promote a culture of employee engagement at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Ms. McMenamin previously served as the vice president for human resources at Jefferson Health, operating in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As a strategic human resources leader for the Jefferson Health clinical enterprise, she was responsible for post-merger integration of hospitals and ambulatory product lines, and was accountable for strategic and operational planning for employee relations and engagement for a 20,000-employee workforce. Prior to the Kennedy Health/Jefferson Health merger, Ms. McMenamin was the CHRO at Kennedy Health in southern NJ, leading the people function of the organization achieving Top Work Place recognition for five consecutive years.
With a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in Human Resources Management and a master’s degree from St. Joseph’s University in Strategic Human Capital Management, Ms. McMenamin has professional certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is also a member of several professional affiliations including: Society for Human Resources Management, Human Resources Executive Association, and previously served as a Board Member and Chair of the HR Committee at Foodbank of South Jersey.
