Parents receive important gift to monitor their babies
Panasonic Corporation of North America has donated 500 baby monitors to Trinitas Regional Medical Center Maternity Patients in honor of the Mother's Day holiday.
"We are completely humbled and honored to receive such a generous gift from Panasonic. As our fellow servants in the Newark community, this is a true testament of an institution giving back to its local community," said, Gary S. Horan, FACHE, President and CEO of Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
"We know there are a range of decisions and costs associated with welcoming a new baby, and families are often consumed with ensuring they have the basic necessities. Our corporate culture is anchored in contributing to society and we want this contribution to give those families one less detail to worry about," said Alejandra Ceja, Executive Director Panasonic Foundation and Office of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Panasonic Long-Range Baby Monitor is the first video baby monitor equipped with DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology) technology, which provides an independent closed network for up to 1,500 feet of secure, interference-free connection. The advanced monitor system detects infant movement with pan, tilt, and zoom functions, and can be used right out of the box, with no assembly and only a minimal set up required.
Trinitas offers a maternity unit with all private rooms, state-of-the-art labor/delivery/recovery rooms, and a special expertise for high risk infants. Along with Board certified OB/GYN physicians, first-time mothers benefit from constant care and support by in-house certified nurse midwives to provide a safe, secure and fulfilling birthing experience tailored to each individual expectant mother and family.
