The New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN), an Affiliate of the National League for Nursing, will host the Gala on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey. The NJLN Awards Gala brings together the best in nursing and health care to honor and recognize nursing excellence and to benefit nursing education.

The NJLN has proudly selected Mr. Ostrowsky as this year’s recipient because he exemplifies what it means to make an impact through his mission and goals, which align with the NJLN to recognize nursing excellence, education and the importance of diversity and inclusivity in the workforce.

“As a system, we are committed to fostering a culture that encourages professional development and the pursuit of research among our nursing professionals as well as addressing the true social needs of the diverse communities we serve,” said Mr. Ostrowsky “I am honored to be recognized by an organization that shares this commitment and cultivates a culture of inclusivity.”

The spotlight will also be shining brightly on twelve of the finest in the nursing profession with the prestigious 2018 NJLN Nurse Recognition Awards. “We are so pleased to be hosting the 2018 NJLN Nurse Recognition Gala. Our recognition awards celebration is one example of what the NJLN embodies, it is about recognizing nursing excellence and promoting education. This year’s Gala theme of Celebrating Ho’ohana is a way of bringing together the nursing community to recognize the importance and value of the work they do each and every day. And through our Gala, we have a forum to formally acknowledge the incredible work that Mr. Ostrowsky is doing in health care. He exemplifies what it means to make an “IMPACT” through his initiatives as a champion to ensure a culture of inclusivity and diversity,” said John Lanier, MS, RN, NE-BC, President, New Jersey League for Nursing.
