NBIMC Nurses and Barry H. Ostrowsky Receive NJLN Awards

Barry H. Ostrowsky, President and CEO, RWJBarnabas Health, was honored with the New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN) IMPACT Award at the 2018 Nursing Recognition Awards Gala on Friday, November 2, at the Pines Manor in Edison. Mary Ellen Clyne, PhD, President and CEO, Clara Maass Medical Center, accepted the award on Mr. Ostrowsky's behalf at the event.

Each year at the gala, NJLN, an affiliate of the National League for Nursing, brings together the best in nursing and health care to honor and recognize nursing excellence and to benefit nursing education.

Additionally, the gala honored 12 individuals in the nursing profession with the prestigious NJLN Nurse Recognition Awards. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center garnered two of these awards, recognizing Amy Doran, MSN, RN, APN-c, CNO and VP, Patient Care Services; and Sandra Adap, BSN, RN, CCRN, a CCU/ICU Permanent Charge Nurse.
