Wise choices – sometimes choosing between a healthy meal and an unhealthy meal is obvious. Other times, the decisions are harder. Follow these tips to stay ahead of the game when it comes to healthier choices.  

  1. Salad dressings – choose olive oil-based over creamy kinds.
  2. Choose grilled or baked food over fried options.
  3. Opt for whole wheat or rye breads over white bread.
  4. For dessert, order mixed berries, or a small serving of, say, cheesecake, if you’re splurging.
  5. Use mustard, not mayonnaise on sandwiches
