West Orange, NJ, January 3, 2018 – RWJBarnabas Health has named Brian H. George, MS, MBA, FACHE as Vice President
of Musculoskeletal and Spine Services. In his new role, Mr. George will
drive costs, quality and outcomes for the Orthopedic Service Line while
also working on product improvement and standardization with the Materials
Management Division.George will also work closely with the RWJBarnabas
Health physician community on protocols and pathways, as well as explore
novel payment scenarios.
Mr. George has been with RWJBarnabas Health for nine years. He most recently served as the Administrative Director of Clinical Operations at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. For the past two years, he has co-chaired RWJBarnabas Health’s successful efforts surrounding the mandatory CMS lower extremity joint replacement bundle. Prior to his position at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, George worked at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. George earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Marshall University as well as a Master of Business Administration in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves as the Chairman of the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign of the Chathams and is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Society.
