Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in collaboration with the Healthier Somerset Coalition conducted a community health needs assessment to determine the priority areas of concern. The draft assessment provides information about Somerset County; the assessment process; results from secondary data, the community survey, focus groups and key informant interviews; and the overall findings of need. The assessment concludes that the priority areas of need in Somerset County are: 1) Mental Health & Substance Abuse, Chronic Disease, Obesity and Access to Care.
