Music executive Elie Maroun and partner Jordan Stern believe that music
can be a powerful healing tool to uplift spirits and provide a much needed
distraction for patients. So together they established the Music Beats
Hearts Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides hospitals with
free music devices pre-loaded with inspirational playlists. Studies have
shown that music helps improve one’s quality of life, and just one
song has the power to bring back countless memories and happiness during
difficult times. The duo and their colleagues recently visited The Bristol-Myers
Squibb Children’s Hospital and distributed 60 iPods to our pediatric
patients as their very first activation of their program. We are excited
and honored that Music Beats Hearts chose us, and we look forward to seeing
them again next year! Read more about their visit here:
