Our thanks to employees from Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), who donated parent
activity bags as well as children’s wagons to the Child Life Program
at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) last week.
The wagons will allow our young patients to cruise with ease through the
hallways during their stay as well as aid staff in bringing toys and other
items between the storage room, playroom, and patient rooms. The parent
activity bags are also a nice treat for parents, who often place all of
their energy and attention on their sick child – providing Mom and
Dad with a little cheer and comfort can go a long way too. Thank you to
BMS for your generosity! Shown here from left to right are Kate Busch,
BMSCH Child Life Specialist; Allison Adamousky, Sr. Pharmacovigilance
(PV) Scientist, BMS; Theresa Gilbert, Senior Project Coordinator/Executive
Associate, BMS; and Michael Wargo, Director of Corporation and Foundation
Relations for the RWJ University Hospital Foundation.
