Community Medical Center Hosts ‘Get Your Red On’ To Raise Awareness of Heart Disease in Women

February 2, 2015, Toms River, NJ – Community Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will present its fifth annual "Get Your Red On" program on Wednesday, February 25 from 5:30 to 8 pm at the Clarion Hotel, located at 815 Route 37 West, Toms River.

All women face the threat of heart disease. But becoming aware of symptoms and risks unique to women, as well as eating a heart-healthy diet and exercising, can help protect you. Anemona Anghel MD, a Board Certified cardiologist, will discuss heart health for women and help participants gain a better understanding on what they can do to live heart healthy lives.

In celebration of our fifth annual Get Your Red On program, and because laughter is a powerful stress reducer which is beneficial to heart health, a special guest comedian will join us.

All participants are asked to wear something red to this special evening for women. Drawings for great prizes will be offered and a light dinner will be provided.

A $10 donation to support our cardiac education programs for women is suggested.

Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. To register, call 1-888-724-7123.
