This month, Barnabas Health salutes former New York Giants offensive lineman and two-time Super Bowl Champion David Diehl for his commitment to children and concussion education.
David spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the New York Giants and was part of two Super Bowl championship teams – in 2008 and 2012.
Today David is a game analyst on NFL on FOX and the host of a weekly talk show on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
David serves as spokesperson for Barnabas Health and the Matthew J. Morahan, III Health Assessment Center for Athletes to raise awareness about concussions and cardiac issues. He also educates coaches, parents and children about the importance of screenings and the steps needed to return to play after a head injury. David recently expanded his role to serve as ambassador to healthy living for the Barnabas Health system, enabling him to continue impacting the lives of residents throughout New Jersey.
