Jan 17, 2014 Coca-Cola Brings Cheer to Pediatric Patients

Employees from Coca Cola recently visited The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital to present a $6,000 check to the RWJ University Hospital Foundation. Led my their colleague, Andrew Kaplan, the group helped raise the funds to support the Child Life Program at the hospital. Our Child Life Specialists are specially trained to help children and families cope with the emotional, physical, and psychological challenges that may come with having a sick or injured child. The program provides developmental, educational, and therapeutic activities to support the child’s growth and well-being while hospitalized. We want to offer a special thank you to Andrew and the team from Coca Cola for providing such a wonderful gift to support our pediatric patients.
